Born in Melbourne, she completed a BA(mus) and post-graduate studies at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester UK as a Peter Moores Scholar.

A principal Soprano with Opera Australia since 2000 performing: the Page in Rigoletto; Lover in Il Trittico; Giannetta in L'Elisir d'amore; Ensemble/Lucy Sweeney Todd; Marzellina in Fidelio; Zerlina in Don Giovanni; Der Milliner in Rosenkavalier; Phyllis in Iolanthe; (a Green Room Award 2003 winning) Clorinda in La Cenerentola; Papagena in The Magic Flute; Clorinda/2nd Woman in The Baroque Masterworks; Yum-Yum in The Mikado; Pousette in Manon, Ninetta in Love for Three Oranges, Ida in Die Fledermaus and the Plaintiff in Trial by Jury.

For other companies she has performed: Venus in Cesti's Il Pomo d'Oro (Batignano Opera Festival, Italy); Franzi in Strauss' The Spirit of Vienna, (Clonter Opera, UK); Fennimore in Kurt Weill’s The Silverlake (with Rory Bremner); Polly Peachum in Jonathan Miller’s production of The Beggar's Opera (Broomhill Opera at Wilton's Music Hall, London), and Zerlina in Don Giovanni for Opera New Zealand.

For television she has performed on Channel 7’s Good Friday appeal, Mornings with Kerri-Anne and was presenter for Channel Four UK's live telecast of La Traviata (Paris 2000). She has also become a regular on ABC Australia's cult hit show 'Spicks and Specks'.

In 2005 she created the hit show 'The Opera Burlesque' that continues to sell out at festivals around the world. She has also become a regular cast member of the Famous Spiegeltent's hit show 'La Clique - A Sideshow Burlesque' and has performed with the show in Melbourne, Adelaide and Edinburgh.

Recordings include the soundtrack to the Australian feature film ‘One Perfect Day’ 2004, 'Love of Three Oranges' on Chandos Records with Richard Hickox and Opera Australia, and on DVD - 'Trial by Jury', also with Opera Australia.

She has worked with some of the worlds greatest Maestri - Carlo Felice Cillario, Simone Young, Richard Hickox, Sir Richard Bonynge and shared the stage with such greats as Anthony Warlow, David Hobson, Reg Livermore, Lisa Gasteen, Teddy Tahu Rhodes, Jonathan Lemalu, Judi Connelli, Elizabeth Whitehouse and Peter Coleman-Wright.
