Ali McGregor returns to the fringe with a limited season of songs both old and new (and sometimes blue). Hear songs you haven't heard in years alongside versions of songs you thought you'd never hear again. Accompanied by one of Australia's finest jazz pianists Sam Keevers, this is a rare hour of song from one of the fringe festival's most versatile singers.
 
Ali has become one of the most recognisable voices at the Fringe festival after star turns in La Clique, shows including The Opera Burlesque, Ali McGregor’s Late-Nite Variety-Nite Night and last year’s hit show ‘Jazz Cigarette’. She is known as one of the most versatile singers in Australia and her debut CD was released earlier this year to rave reviews.
Last year she sang the songs that made her want to sing and this year she explores similar territory with a unique take on the ‘American Songbook’ with Kiss, Madonna and a little seasoning of Salt 'n Pepa joining forces with the great songwriters like Cole Porter and George Gershwin.
