About the event
After the incredible success of the first Rokesly Comedy Night last year we are back even bigger and better! Last year our tickets sold out in a matter of hours and many were disappointed that they missed out, so this year we are upgrading to a larger space - the School Hall at Highgate Woods School. We are also adding another comedian to the line-up and we are very excited to have Deborah Frances-White joining us.
Deborah is a stand up comedian who has made two series of her hit BBC Radio 4 show Deborah Frances-White Rolls the Dice. The first series won The Writers' Guild Award for Best Radio Comedy and has performed stand up all over the world
She is the creator and host of the hit podcast The Guilty Feminist and is the host of comedy panel show podcast Global Pillage.
DFW will be joined by returning comedians (and parents) Kent Valentine, the award-winning author and comedian Mark Watson and host of Channel 4's Th Last Leg - Adam Hills. The night will be hosted by singer Ali McGregor.
This year, in an effort to make life easier for our volunteers we will be pre-selling discounted drink tickets and interval kebabs. Drink tickets will also be available on the night but not at the discounted price.
You are most welcome to bring friends and family along (although the event is 18 and over) but there is a limit to 6 tickets per purchase.
Last year we made nearly £3,000 for the Rokesly PSA and this year we hope to have an even more successful evening with even more laughs and the added bonus of interval kebabs which will be delivered fresh from the reknowned Anteplilers restaurant in Haringey.
